In 2009, Blue Faery started the Blue Faery Award (BFA) for Excellence in Liver Cancer Research. This annual award honors a researcher who has made significant contributions in the advancement of scientific knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention or understanding of liver cancer. The BFA is announced every year on Adrienne Wilson's birthday--April 8.

Academics

The Adrienne Wilson Spirit Award (AWSA) is specifically designed for patients diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma. Blue Faery created the AWSA to recognize patients who share Adrienne Wilson's spirit, strength and courage. Therefore, we look for patients who are advocates for themselves as well as others during their fight against liver cancer.
