Compassionate Care
New York City Rescue Mission (NYCRM) operates as a controlled affiliate of The Bowery Mission, the nation's oldest rescue mission serving New Yorkers experiencing homelessness since the 1870s. NYCRM's former campus at 90 Lafayette St. -- now called The Bowery Mission's Tribeca Campus – continues to offer safe, clean overnight shelter for men and women each night. Guests may stay overnight for up to seven days with opportunities for extensions.
Amenities include: daily meals and showers; clothing closet, clinical case management; referrals to medical care, mental health care and detox; and intake for longer-term residential programming. All guests are invited to build trusting relationships with our staff and connect to long-term services and supports.
