Mission

Fedcap Rehabilitation Services provides an array of services to youth and adults helping thousands each year graduate from high school, obtain vocational certification or a college degree, become work ready, obtain meaningful employment and achieve long term economic well-being. Our mission is to create opportunities for people with barriers to economic well-being. Fedcap Rehabilitation Services is part of the international organization, The Fedcap Group, and includes Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services.

Economic Development

The Fedcap Group works at the intersection of workforce and economic development to drive job creation and growth. Fedcap has designed a comprehensive solution to the development of a skilled workforce, a win-win for businesses and employees alike. With an understanding of economic and labor market trends, Fedcap partners with 9,000 businesses nationally through the provision of customized, employer-based training combined with job readiness, case management and wrap-around pre-and post-placement support services.

The Fedcap Group’s new investment capacity is strategically aligned with this expertise in talent development, delivering capital to businesses and communities that lack access to traditional financing sources. The Fedcap Group will provide capital to businesses located in low-income communities, with a focus on those owned by veteran, minority, women and others that have faced barriers. We will complement these business investments with investments in community assets and business infrastructure that are also necessary for growth and improved quality of life for residents.

The Fedcap Group is committed to education as a pathway to long term economic well being. Beginning with newborns and continuing to serve through adulthood, The Fedcap Group offers a rich array of tailored programs for every step of a person’s academic journey.

Individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders or physical health issues possess a wide range of talents and abilities. When supported, they are able to work in all sectors of the U.S. economy.

The Fedcap Group takes a novel approach to “Occupational Health” –assisting individuals to obtain the critical treatment they need while at the same time providing the supports they need to be successful in employment. We believe that combining better health coverage with workforce opportunities will enhance every delivery system. Work is a critical component of treatment — in fact — we believe that work completes treatment!

Using an array of evidence-based interventions, our clinicians are focused on helping those we serve maintain physical and mental health. Working in partnership with our Workforce Development and Educational teams, individuals are prepared for work through our Get Ready! web-based training curriculum, obtain vocational certifications in high growth sectors through our Career Design School, find a job and sustain living wage employment.

The Fedcap Group has designed a comprehensive solution to the development of a skilled workforce, a win-win for businesses and employees alike. With an understanding of economic and labor market trends. We are ahead of the curve in providing trained talent. We partner with businesses through the provision of customized, employer-based training combined with job readiness, case management and post-placement supports.

We also assist companies with tax credits associated with their hiring strategies and may be able to temporarily subsidize wages with third-party funding sources.

The Fedcap Group has partnered with 9,000 businesses nationwide, meeting critical staffing needs for employers while assisting thousands of individuals with barriers to economic well-being forever change the course of their lives.

In 2017, Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services joined forces with The Fedcap Group. Through our partnership, we are shining a national spotlight on the issues facing veterans and their families – mobilizing resources and expertise to modernize solutions.
Dixon Center is a resource for individuals, organizations, and communities interested in the long-term wellbeing of our veterans and their families. We use ideas, influence, and actions to assist direct service providers transform the lives of service members, veterans, and their families, ensuring they reach their full potential.
We work at local and national levels and focus across three pillars:
 Work with Purpose— Creating pathways to careers
 Heal with Honor— Developing holistic solutions that focus on the 8 dimensions of wellness
 Live with Hope—Accessing affordable housing
We don’t ask organizations to create new programs. We invite them to include veterans and their families—in what they already do.
