Rockefeller Family Fund Inc

The Rockefeller Family Fund (RFF) provides support for advocacy efforts within its program areas that are action-oriented and likely to yield tangible public policy results. Funding is also given to organizations that seek to maintain or expand their financing in innovative ways or from non-foundation sources. Applicants should submit a letter of inquiry of no more than two pages summarizing 1) the goals of the project; 2) the strategy or plan for achieving the goals; and 3) the amount of funding requested. If you are invited to submit a full proposal, you will be provided with guidelines for material to include. The RFF responds to all inquiries. Applicants should allow three to four weeks for staff to review and answer a letter of inquiry. PROGRAM AREAS: 1. Economic Justice for Women - supports projects designed to promote economic justice. In particular, the program seeks provide women with equitable employment opportunities and to improve their work lives. 2. Citizens Participation and Government Accountability - to encourage the organized participation of citizens in govt., and to seek to make government more accountable and responsive. 3. Environment - emphasizes conservation of natural resources, protection of health as affected by the environment, the cessation and clean-up of pollution caused by the department of energy and the department of defense, and domestic efforts to broaden the 4. Institutional Responsiveness - to help provide organizations with the means to affect policies and actions of public and private institutions.
