Scholarships are the primary means by which ASOEF carries out it’s mission and vision. One service that has endured over time is the awarding of Scholarships. The Foundation has the responsibility of raising funds to support the various programs to assist students in achieving their goals. ASOEF awards more than $25,000 in college scholarships and continuous education grants annually.

The purpose of the AKAdette Club is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards to help alleviate problems concerning black young women. The club offers guidance to high school girls (grades 9-12) and helps develop interests in higher education and learn to be of service to all mankind. This mentoring program focuses on providing educational, social and leadership development as the club members complete community service throughout the year.
