aka Hancock House   |   Ticonderoga, NY   |  www.tihistory.org

Mission

The Ticonderoga Historical Society, organized in 1897 and chartered by the New York State Board of Regents in 1909, preserves and interprets history through collections, exhibits, programs and community outreach. With a primary focus on the historical, educational, scientific and social aspects of the Adirondack Mountains and Lakes Champlain and George regions, we showcase the important contributions of our region to the history of New York and the United States while preserving and promoting our unique cultural history.
