Professional Theatre Productions

Syracuse Stage, led by Artistic Director Robert Hupp and Managing Director Jill A. Anderson, is Central New York's premier professional theatre. Each season 70,000 patrons enjoy an adventurous mix of new plays and bold interpretations of classics and musicals featuring the finest theatre artists, largely in the complex's Archbold Theatre (499 seats). The company periodically produces work in the complex's Storch Theatre (flexible capacity) and in community spaces. Additionally, Syracuse Stage is committed to the further development and production of new work under the "Cold Read" banner, with funding from the Julie Lutz New Play Development Fund.

Along with each production, Syracuse Stage partners with local community organizations and vendors to provide robust engagement programming highlighting the critical and engaging work of such organizations and small businesses.

Syracuse Stage generates an estimated $10 million in local economic impact each year.
