The mission of BTI is to function as a not-for-profit organization that is recognized as a community leader in educational services aimed at positive results through changing individuals' behaviors. (Continued on Schedule O)BTI is a community based organization that provides innovative and quality programs and services to promote self-help for youth, parents, families, and the community at large. BTI helps people meet the most basic and critical needs while improving their ability to become self-supporting.

21st Century Community Learning Center - This program provides after-school activities for low performing students and their families in the Utica City School District (middle and high school level). Some of the activities provided include tutoring, active family learning series, career exploration, entrepreneurship, career and college bound, financial management, health and wellness, theater, drama and Performing Arts. This program is funded by government contributions that amounted to $1,069,881.
