Literacy Initiatives

Getting books into the hands of children! The PTA supports literacy by bringing books into the school as often and as much as possible. library, made possible through fundraising programs, each child receives a gift each year in the month of his or her birthday through our Books for Birthdays program. We also sponsor, coordinate, and staff two Book Fairs during the year. The Book Fair not only gets children excited about books, but helps PTA ensure that each teacher has an in-class library for reading throughout the school day.
