To provide a warm, respectful environment meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of those facing the end of life as well as their families. Provide a loving home atmosphere for those that are unable to stay in their own home during their final days. Provide education about the hospice philosophy of care to our community and surrounding areas.

Hospeace House is a two-bedroom comfort care home for the dying. Our staff and trained volunteers provide compassionate care in a home setting for those determined to be within the last three months of life. Admission to our home is based on need. Hospeace House is a not-for-profit volunteer-driven organization that is funded and operated through donations, fundraising, memorial contributions and the generous help of our community. We do not charge our residents or their families nor do we receive any insurance reimbursement.

Hospeace House operates as an extension of the family, and in conjunction with nursing agencies to provide comfort care. The home is overseen by a director who is experienced in hospice and home care. The director is responsible for daily operations and training of all staff/volunteers to ensure that the individual needs of our residents are being met. There is no cost to the families that we serve, nor do we receive any reimbursement from insurance companies. Hospeace House is funded solely by donations, fundraising, memorial contributions and through the generosity of our community. We fulfill our mission with the gracious help of our community members. Hospeace House attends networking opportunities, holds informational session and makes themselves available to the public to help coordinate and educate on hospice services.

Hospeace House will ask residents and their families to have ongoing discussions regarding the services and care they receive while at the home. Hospeace House will ask families to evaluate the services they receive and provide suggestions for any changes they feel would be beneficial to the home.

Hospeace House recently completed renovations to the home to ensure that our residents had comfortable living quarters and private bathrooms with accessible showers. Our goal was to transform the home from a clinical feel to a home atmosphere, which we accomplished. The home was reopened after going through an organizational restructuring and has since provided services to several families in need. We plan to increase funding to ensure that we can continue to support those in need.
