LRBT USA IS THE FUNDRAISING ARM IN THE USA FOR LAYTON RAHMATULLAH BENEVOLENT TRUST (LRBT), THE LARGEST EYE CARE NGO IN PAKISTAN COMPRISED OF A NETWORK OF 19 HOSPITALS AND 55 EYE CENTERS NATIONWIDE. IT ALONE TREATS 36% OF THE TOTAL EYE PATIENTS IN THE COUNTRY AND UNTIL NOW HAS TREATED MORE THAN 49 MILLION PATIENTS FOR FREE. LRBT WAS CREATED BY GRAHAM LAYTON & ZAKA RAHMATULLAH AS A BENEVOLENT TRUST. THEY ENVISIONED AN ORGANIZATION WHICH WOULD GROW TO PROVIDE FREE EYE TREATMENT TO THE POOR & UNDERPRIVILEGED CITIZENS ACROSS PAKISTAN SO THAT NO PAKISTANI WOULD GO BLIND BECAUSE HE/SHE COULD NOT AFFORD THE TREATMENT. LRBT USA WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE TEAM IN PAKISTAN TO RAISE AWARENESS, BUILD THE CAMPAIGN AND GROW FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO HELP THE DIRECT NEEDS OF THE EYE HOSPITALS AS WELL AS THE POOR AND NEEDY PATIENTS IT SERVES.
