TENET aims to bring joy and self-reflection to our listeners through unparalleled musical experiences.

TENET aims to build a sustainable donor base (individuals and foundations) that can support ambitious, creative, larger-scale concerts to deliver the best possible music for our audience.

TENET continues to collaborate with acclaimed and internationally-recognized musicians and ensembles. TENET seeks to present old music using forms and styles that give listeners a new take or a fresh perspective. We have been actively building a major donor base through personal cultivation, private house concerts, and the creation of a Board of Advisors.

TENET's artistic director has been praised for her work since she took over the ensemble in 2008. We have made it a priority to build a strong Board of Directors around her, and we continue to grow and strengthen this group. TENET is also supported by a number of skilled contractors who enhance our work, providing quality services in areas like graphic design, bookkeeping, bookings, and PR. We also have a solid track record in the field and many positive working relationships with other musicians and ensembles. Their partnership enables us to achieve our goals.

Progress will be measured by concert audience size, size of donor base, increase in donor gifts from year to year, audience engagement/positive feedback, positive reviews, and new/increased foundation support.

TENET continues to bring in significant public and private funding to sustain a budget that exceeds $200,000. We have expanded our audience, donor base, and foundation support. We continue to receive excellent reviews and to draw new and repeat supporters. We continue to offer equitable pay to our professional musicians who are at the top of the field.

Priorities for the future include board development, continued major donor cultivation, and more equitable compensation for our artistic director.

Organizational Demographics

In order to support nonprofits and gain valuable insight for the sector, GuideStar worked with D5—a five-year initiative to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in philanthropy—in creating a questionnaire. This section is a voluntary questionnaire that empowers organizations to share information on the demographics of who works in and leads organizations. To protect the identity of individuals, we do not display sexual orientation or disability information for organizations with fewer than 15 staff. Any values displayed in this section are percentages of the total number of individuals in each category (e.g. 20% of all Board members for X organization are female).
