Collective Business Operations
The Collective Business Operations negotiates discounts from vendors and contractors to reduce operating and capital costs for Balboa Park's cultural institutions. Examples include credit card processing, office supplies, and environmental services.
Balboa Park Learning Institute
The Balboa Park Learning Institute is a multi-faceted professional development program created for staff, volunteers, and trustees involved in arts, science, and cultural institutions throughout southern California. The Institute offers workshops, seminars, symposia, and networking opportunities to cultivate skills, and knowledge, and abilities of staff, volunteers, and trustees.
Balboa Park Environmental Sustainability
The goals of the Sustainability program is to preserve and enhance San Diego's iconic urban park for generations now and into the future. The program brings representatives from two dozen cultural institutions together to discuss and implement environmentally sound practices such as energy efficiency, recycling, and water conservation.

The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership seeks to achieve four key strategic outcomes in order to maximize the effectiveness of our collaboration, maintain our competitive edge, support innovative thinking and achieve our mission and vision:
1. Increase the economic and environmental sustainability of our members and Balboa Park.
2. Optimize the visitor experience and opportunity for lifelong learning in Balboa Park.
3. Strengthen the visibility, voice, and leadership of the Partnership.
4. Develop the Partnership's organizational strength and capacity for success, and become an employer, service provider and investment of choice.
