Help America Hear
To provide hearing aids to men, women and children who lack the financial capability to afford them and meet our criteria.
Help America Hear Scholarship
The Help America Hear Scholarship is open to high school seniors who have a hearing loss which requires the use of hearing aid(s). The purpose is to help students with hearing challenges reach their full potential by giving them the gift of sound. This will further their build their confidence and self esteem as the prepare to enter college. The scholarship will be awarded to 10 students each year with a $2000 scholarship and two, state of the art ReSound Hearing Aids, fitted to their needs. Help America Hear hopes to increase our programs and provide life enhancing tools to the low income hearing challenged community.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies are to identify new passionate donors and board members to help us reach our goals. To accomplish this we use social media, special events, our annual campaign and networking events to spread the work of our organization
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Help America Hear is in a position to maintain our current programs, donors and Board members.We need to continue to grow the organization and recruit additional donors and board members to move forward and expand our programs.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our programs solve a problem and provide solutions that are needed by the hearing challenged that is not being provided elsewhere.
We a are a grassroots organization that provides services to low income individuals. It has been hard to identify "angels" or friends who feel passionate about us and want to help us further our mission.
