Mission

The Academy of Music for the Blind is a non-profit corporation (501c3), exclusively and whole-heartedly dedicated to educating and meeting the needs of talented blind and visually impaired youth by developing their unique musical, creative, academic, social and physical skills. With a mixture of both blind and sighted teachers, AMB provides inspiring mentoring & role modeling opportunities.
As the only year-round music school in the world solely dedicated to a comprehensive music education for the blind we are also a resource for other schools of music to draw upon in order to serve the needs of their blind students.
