What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Members are all volunteers who are reluctant to give of their time, energy and assets. We are trying to improve the volunteer spirit of our members. We have started a tee shirt drive last year to boost moral and the volunteer spirit. This year we are adding videos to our website since younger rosacea sufferers are less likely to read posts or pages on our website and may respond better to videos. Our goal is to not only increase member registrations but also member engagement on our website.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We are sending out newsletters and posts on our web site to improve the volunteer spirit of our members. We are trying to get donations with online posts on our website, increase member registrations and get volunteers to handle our social media accounts and to post on our Invision Community platform website.

Trying to understand the reluctance of members not volunteering with questions. Improving collaboration tools using G Suite with a grant from Google. We are hoping that volunteer members might engage more on our website and manage our social media accounts.

Our web site and newsletter. G Suite tools. We are now using YouTube, Instagram and TikTok by uploading our videos and hoping to increase member registration and engagement.

The RRDi has accomplished the following since the founding of this non profit organization in 2004:

(1) Set up a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization recognized by the IRS and registered as a non profit in the State of Hawaii

(2) A web site with a wealth of data on rosacea categorized in the member forum and pages of this site.

(3) One Journal.

(4) Education grants sponsored by Galderma

(5) RRDi MAC

(6) Over 1000 voting members and more than 400 non voting members (as of this date, April 17, 2021

(7) Affiliate store that gives the non profit a small amount of income

(8) Google sponsorship with G Suite and AdWords Grant as well as Demodex Solutions sponsorship.

(9) Created over fifty videos uploaded to YouTube, with some also uploaded to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
