Incubator
FITCI's incubator was created to encourage innovation and accelerate the development of business in Frederick.
StartUp U
StartUp is a sequence of training to ensure the entrepreneurs business is solid. Most after taking this training have to pivot at some point; all have a solid business. The training is taught by very successful CEO’s and the focus is creating a solid Business Model, Value Proposition, perfect pitch while validating all with customer discovery and pitching to real investors. Training and practice involved in this sequence is Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition, Beyond the Pitch and ultimately Reality Check. Reality Check is similar to shark tank in that we put our members in front of investors to pitch their companies for funding. They receive invaluable advice on how to become “Fundable” only after hours of training and mentoring from beyond the pitch. This along with Funded “N” Brews is a part of our Investment Committee. Funded “N” Brews is one of our signature events where we introduce our community to very successful CEO’s who’ve raised capital along with VC’s who’ve funded successful companies. We believe success happens when you surrounded yourself with experts who have gone before you.
@TheTop
@theTop is the natural progression of the CEO Roundtables (SGAB) which all FITCI members take advantage of. @theTop is a quarterly program for our FITCI clients, graduates, and advisors who have reached the highest-growth stage in their business yet are still interested in scaling. This program meets quarterly, is made up of multiple roundtables with a speakers series to keep our entrepreneurial community connected and sharp.
FITCI Executive Chairman Program
The Executive Chairman Program is a match making program to enlisted a highly sought after C-Level Executive for our client company in need of the level of talent. The program is normally a 6-12 month program to get a “highly targeted” company funded. The Company must be a FITCI company with intentions of creating a headquarter in Frederick. Purpose is to direct the company and raise funds. Convertible note with the C-Level Executive and FITCI upon raise. With a proven C-Level executive at the helm a higher success rate is possible.
The Edge
The Edge is our newest 12-week “Community Growth Accelerator”. We believe anyone can put together a great accelerator (and yes we have) but an entrepreneur needs so much more. The power is in the connections and our accelerator is just that, a powerful community coming together to ensure our newest entrepreneurs are successful.
