PBS Foundation
THE FOUNDATION MAKES GRANTS TO PBS TO ENSURE PBS'S CONTINUED EXCELLENCE AND TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE OUTSTANDING PUBLIC BROADCASTING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. GRANTS TO PBS CONSIST OF FUNDING FOR PBS ENGAGE, ADOBE YOUTH VOICES VENTURE FUND, PBS WORLD CHANNEL, AND THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND DIVERSITY INITIATIVE.
Supporting Organization to PBS
The PBS Foundation is the “fundraising arm” of PBS. PBS established the PBS Foundation as a 501(c)(3) supporting organization whose purpose is to seek, cultivate, and receive philanthropic gifts at the national level and whose guiding principles embrace coordination and collaboration with member stations.
