Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Book Buddies

Through The Molina Foundation’s signature program, Book Buddies, we distribute new books to community agencies serving children and families in need. We have partnered with organizations to distribute more than 5 million books to help create word-rich and healthy homes across the United States.

Population(s) Served

Through our On My Way program, The Molina Foundation empowers families to create word-rich and healthy homes. We reach thousands of children and families each year with simple activities and tips to reinforce health and literacy skills, helping to make sure children are ready for kindergarten and success in school. Through this program we create and curate content that is high-interest, engaging, and helps address common needs or gaps in our targeted population.

In addition to curated collections of free activities and crafts available online, in 2018 we published our first product: On My Way to Kindergarten/En Camino al Kinder. On My Way to Kindergarten is a 36-page bilingual (Spanish-English) activity book, accompanied by a suite of online games, crafts, activities, songs and stories.
