Two Trees Inc

1. Lakota Rose Madison(tm) Peace Places - We oversee the establishment of Peace Places in this and other countries where youth and adults will provide a circle of support so that youth can be safe and drug, alcohol and gang free. People using these spaces make commitments to be: (a) safe, (b) sober, (c) honorable, (d) respectful, (e) reciprocal, and (f) compassionate.
2. Cross Cultural Activities - Two Trees oversees the Artist's World web site, one of the largest web sites for art in the world. Through software developed under Two Trees by Gene Angel and Kaycy Ruffer, any artist can exhibit work, have a web site created for his or her art and share experiences with other artists and communities throughout the world. All of this is free of charge.
3. Events - From time to time, Two Trees sponsors or co-sponsors events that are held to provide opportunities for diverse communities, especially American Indian, at-risk, and marginalized communities to build intercultural bridges of dialogue, relationship, and collaborative problem solving.
4. Publications - We intend to produce multi-media materials in written, video and audio form that will promote the story and vision of Lakota Rose Madison and our tiyospaye (extended family). Materials produced will be distributed on a non-profit basis to organizations and individuals who work with youth.
