What we aim to solve
We are 100% funded by Individual sponsors and most of them pay their dues as promised. But there is always a 10% chance that the individual family (sponsors) may not keep their commitment due to honest reasons like Job loss, Family medical situation, Financial hardship etc. Because of that reason, we do have a good solution. We do Fundraising every year to bridge that gap by doing the following 1. Dance Schools Charity Events in various states for Uplift a Child 2. Walkathon 5K Walk events in various states for Uplift a Child We have been very successful with these events that bridge the gap and we are able to continue. This is our 20th year of operations and we are doing very well. We are able to manage any minor set backs or challenges and the future is very healthy and good for our organization. We have never done Grants before and this is another second back now for us. We have been working on Grants writing and applying for Grants. We will be successful.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
1. Support 100,000 in the next 10 years (LKG to Grade 10)
2. Have career guidance and hand hold them till they succeed.
3. Prepare our own children to become future ambassadors of our work so that they can continue on what we have started
4. Finally, through the gift of education, eradicate poverty on the face of Earth
5. Help children to become self - reliant and responsible citizens of the world.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1. Mandatory Volunteer and Children meetings every month to monitor children's growth
2.Receive updates on Quarterly, Half yearly and Final exam reports to evaluate results and share with the sponsors who are specifically supporting those children.
3. Arrange Skype meetings so that there is a direct contact between sponsors and children and the children eventually become like a virtual adopted child and the encouragement is well appreciated by the beneficiary family.
4. Annual Children Programs at all locations
5. All the staff and volunteers meet 100% of all children at all locations.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
1. We now have close to 1000 sponsors and they are growing each month.
2. Our sponsors are all over the United States and we are planning to start a local chapter of UpliftaChild in each city which would bring in more local sponsors, more income and we will have more money then to support our goal.
3. Since we never did grants before, this is one venue we are very positive to succeed and this will be a second backup for our finances. But we are not depending on it 100%. We have a 99% success rate with our model of Individual sponsors
4 We are also working on getting company matching from all of our Individual sponsors that is working well.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far, we have already laid a path to success with Individual sponsorship and it is standardized (for many years, sponsors pay us and sponsorship to the children continues. This is an ongoing effort and we keep the sponsors connected by providing periodic updates to the sponsors on their children's progress at school.
We are now doing Technological Upgrade on our website to accomplish the following
1. Individual sponsors pages
2. Individual sponsors videos with all of their sponsored children
These two are new additions which are already generating more news about Uplift a Child and it is spreading fast. We are also having a strong presence on the social media with a lot of weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual updates of our work.
While accomplishing all of the above, we are progressing forward and always willing to learn anything new that contributes to our work so that we can help many more children.
