Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We want to contribute to the appropriate use of pharmaceuticals. We provide information relating to the availability, access, appropriate prescribing, dispensing, use and disposal of pharmaceuticals.

We study how the behaviors of the different actors involved in the medication cycle influence the appropriate use of pharmaceuticals, including the pharmaceutical industry, clinical researchers, academic institutions, editors, medical journals, prescribers, pharmacists, patient's groups, patients and international organizations contribute to such aims.

We are also conducting research on how IRBs o research ethics committees protect clinical trial participants, especially in the case of clinical trials sponsored by industry.

We publish eight quarterly bulletins and made them freely available in our webpage, and conduct empirical research in Latin America (our reports are also available in our webpage).
