Helping Hands International assembles Volunteer Teams to complete projects dedicated to helping meet practical needs in typically rural communities (e.g. food, shelter, clean water, education, gospel etc.) here in the US and overseas. Each Team is led by a trained HHI Team Leader, is typically 10-12 people strong, and completes projects within 1-2 weeks. In 2020, we organized over 500 Volunteers to provide help and hope to hurting people! To see our latest Volunteer opportunities go to: www.helpinghandsinternational.com/volunteer.

Helping Hands International, Inc. started this Feeding Program in 2021 through the Amati Center for Orphans, which has a rural village in western Kenya for disadvantaged families and orphaned children. In 2022, we expanded the program to provide food to over 1,600 students in Nairobi, Kenya every Saturday through the Watumul Children's Education organization. In 2023, we had the honor of extending more assistance to Amati to bless approximately 70 disadvantaged families and 56 orphaned children, thanks to our generous Donors! Helping Hands International, Inc. started a Women's Savings & Loan program in Kenya in 2022 using the Chalmers' Restore curriculum, which teaches women over an 8-10 month period how to save money, encourage one another, and take out and repay small loans. The curriculum is Biblically based and is specifically designed for third world countries. While we started with a handful of women, the Program is active in three parts of Kenya, with over 100 women involved! Helping Hands International believes that religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world (James 1:27).
