What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Providing handicapped accessible vans to children
Because most children that come to us have a catastrophic event in their life that causes the family to struggle financially and requires a very specific mode of transporation now for that child, we try to provide handicapped accessible vans to these families to get the children to doctors' appointments, hospital visits, etc. Each van is very costly and most families are prohibited with their funds from purchasing this very basic piece of equipment they need. We are finding this to be a very real and large need for our charity to fund.
Paying for Medically Necessary Treatment/Prescriptions Not Covered by Insurance
Many of the children we are honored to serve require long-term medical treatment, therapy, medication, etc. that is not covered by insurance. This program allows them to continue this critical phase of their recovery.
Providing Repairs to Child's Home to Make It Handicapped Accessible
We are often asked to assist with the remodeling of a home to make it handicapped accessible. While we can at times get volunteer labor, the cost of goods as well as for specialized tradesmen adds up very quickly. Without these changes, getting the child in and out of the home is difficult at best and dangerous at the worst.
Providing Basic Needs of Food, Water, Clothing
Often the family income is reduced to one salary when one of the parents become a full-time caregiver to a sick or disabled child. Additionally, due to increasing medical costs and reduced insurance payments for many of these children, the families are often thrust into poverty in order to keep their child alive. We often step in with basic needs of food, water and clothing.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We aim to provide love, compassion and support to children who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in desperate situations. We never want to turn any child away for lack of resources.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are blessed to receive a great deal of media attention, even nationally, which assists us with both fundraising as well as bringing additional children to us that need help. We are also expanding to reach out to corporate sponsors who will support us on an annual basis.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our capabilities are endless. We never let anything stop us from finding a solution - even if it is a situation we have never encountered before.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our progress is ongoing but sure. We truly always find a way to make things happen for "our" kids.
