Registry of JIA patients
Long term prospectively collected data on large numbers of children with JIA does not exist. A large data base of all children with JIA from all CARRA sites would allow for long term collection of key data on new patients, outcome data and medication toxicities for children with JIA that could inform a wide range of investigations and add new knowledge.
Development of a Standard of Care for Systemic JIA
Currently there is no agreed upon standard of care for systemic JIA (SJIA) at the onset of disease. SJIA has the worst outcome of all types of JIA and responds to treatment differently.
