What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Talent Acquisition Pipeline (TAP)
The Talent Acquisition Pipeline (TAP) is Workforce Opportunity Services’ (WOS) premier program to place high-potential, early career employees at leading companies. We partner with companies that need ready-to-work professionals who can offer new perspectives – along with needed technical and interpersonal skills.
WOS designs and develops a rigorous, academic training curriculum that is specific to your workforce goals. We recruit veterans and underserved jobseekers to participate in our hands-on work-study programs that lead to a lifelong career path. After completing required courses at a local academic institution, successful participants are eligible to graduate with our prestigious certificate and be placed at a partner company.
WOS manages all aspects of the program, working with corporate executives to assure a timely, efficient, and successful transition into the workplace. We are experts in helping companies assimilate diverse, new team members who are looking to create better lives for themselves and their families and will remain committed over the long term.
On Demand
Workforce Opportunity Services’ (WOS) On Demand services provide talented, diverse individuals to meet your organization’s needs – when you need them. Our experienced professionals will work directly with your team, at all levels, to pinpoint the education, skills and experience necessary to transform your talent pool. Through this high-touch process, WOS will use our tested and proven approach to identify job candidates who have the greatest potential for success.
We are experts in identifying the qualities of ideal, early career jobseekers. We will conduct multi-level interviews and background checks to ensure that each candidate’s technical aptitude, interpersonal skills and experience are the strongest match for a designated role. We send only top candidates to your hiring managers for vetting and final hiring decision.
After a candidate is selected, he or she will be placed within your organization as a WOS Consultant. During 9 – 12 month consultancy periods, our candidates, and your organization, will receive a dedicated Client Service Manager to ensure that your expectations are met and that our consultants have the mentorship and resources they need to succeed on a long-term career path.
We curate a hassle-free experience for you by removing the administrative burden (including payroll, insurance and timekeeping). This allows your hiring manager and direct supervisors to focus on the professional development and success of their newest team member. This program provides opportunities for deserving professionals to create better lives for themselves and their families, while ensuring that companies receive a well-prepared professional to compliment their teams. This highly customized service can be tailored to meet your company’s needs.
Managed Services
Workforce Opportunity Services’ (WOS) Managed Services provide hassle-free, outsourced technical and product support to help companies innovate and diversify their employees. Our highly trained technical staff can be based either on- or off-site, providing help desk, call center, claims processing, and other specialized services. WOS oversees responsibility for all diagnostics and problem resolution. Our experienced and well-prepared professionals can work independently or with a corporate partner’s internal team.
This proven approach helps to resolve technical issues faster and allows a company’s on-site support staff to focus on more complex issues.
In The Community
WOS collaborates with organizations to offer free workshops and classes for individuals from underserved populations. Our workshops teach them the skills they need to further their educations and launch their careers, covering everything from business writing to navigating career changes. We are constantly developing new workshops to meet their unique needs for personal and professional growth.
SocialLift
SociaLift hires young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 to improve their skills and employability in the IT and customer relationship sectors. Our consultants work as beta testers, customer relationship advisors, computer engineers, and developers of web and mobile applications.
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Vaulx-en-Velin, our workforce development program relies on the social and economic model put forth by WOS and its founder Dr. Arthur Langer.
