Mission

The Vision of the Fellowship of St. Moses the Black is to see the face of Christ reflected in countless expressions of His love and reconciliation throughout the world whereby people of all races and backgrounds are drawn to the love and healing of Jesus Christ discovered in the Ancient Orthodox Christian Church. The Mission of the Fellowship of St. Moses the Black is to equip Orthodox Christians for the ministry of Racial Reconciliation, and to share the Orthodox Christian faith with African Americans and people of color.

FSMB Annual Conference

The Annual Conference brings together Orthodox Christians interested in enhancing hospitality in their parishes for African Americans and other minorities, and who are also interested in outreach to those minority groups. The conference features talks on spiritual, historical, and social topics, including how Africa and Africans have had a vital place in the history and development of Christianity. There are talks on racial reconciliation and the conference provides a safe environment for participants to discuss racial issues in the culture and in the Church. There are talks on spiritual life and music, as well as times for musical sharing and worship.

The UBCP is the publishing arm of the Fellowship of St. Moses the Black. It publishes multiply-authored books based on past-conference talks and original material. It also publishes short prayer services and music CDs of the Fellowship's music.
