The Kris Kelly Foundation Traps Feral Cats in West L.A.
The Kris Kelly Foundation trapped neutered/spayed a small colony of cats that live in West Los Angeles. There were 3 kittens that got homes but the others had to remain in the colony. There was one cat that was the Mama that could not be caught with a regular trap. Fix Nation let them borrow what is called a drop trap (as you can see in the pictures below). Mama was caught and will be spayed at Fix Nation tomorrow morning and returned back to the colony. Please remember to learn about trap neuter release also dubbed TNR and help any stray cat in your neighborhood get sterilized before it gets out of control. The poor kittys live a hard life on the streets and we at The Kris Kelly Foundation want to prevent future kittys from that life. So please get involved in your neighborhoods and save a life. Remember to always spay and neuter your pets!
Spay and Neuter Project
The Kris Kelly Foundation spays and neuters cats and dogs for families that cannot afford it.
Save the strays
Save the strays is a program where we rescue the animals from the streets and see if they have families looking for them. If not we get them spayed and neutered and find them loving homes.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goals are to have a spay and neuter clinic so we can help control the pet over population problem in Southern California. We want to trap, neuter and release the ferals in neighborhoods that have cats suffering on the street.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We go into neighborhoods and speak with the residents and ask for their help with where the cats are and trap them. We will help stray dogs off the street also and put them in foster care.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are spay and neutering family pets that cannot afford the surgery and also getting them their shots.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We are working towards a non kill society through spay and neuter.
