iRest® Yoga Nidra Level 1 Training

iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1 Trainings are designed to provide you with the basic principles, history, theory, practice, and delivery of iRest. This will allow you to incorporate the simple 10-step iRest protocol into your personal life, professional teaching, and/or clinical practice.

Population(s) Served
Adults

iRest Level 2 Trainings are designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of the principles underlying the theory, practice, and delivery of iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation, so that you can hone your delivery of iRest to groups and individuals, in public and professional settings. You can enter into the iRest Teacher Certification process at any time after attending either the Level 1 or 2 iRest Training.

Population(s) Served
Adults

iRest Teacher Certification is a comprehensive process by which those who have attended both the Level 1 and Level 2 iRest Trainings can become a Certified iRest® Teacher.

Population(s) Served
Adults

iRest Immersions are more in-depth workshops geared towards those who would like a 2-3 day, non-residential event to learn the practices of iRest, in a highly experiential setting. At Immersions you'll be guided by seasoned staff who will help you understand the basics, and develop a personal practice of iRest.

Population(s) Served
Adults

Meditation Retreats are geared to support people interested in opening to their underlying Essential Nature: the Mystery that has given birth to the entire cosmos. Retreatants participate in engaged spiritual discussions, multiple experiential nondual meditation practices (of which iRest is one among many offered), and ways of integrating these precious spiritual teachings into everyday life. People are introduced to the nondual teachings, which underlie iRest, and to their non-separate Essential Nature.

Data
  • We analyze disaggregated data and root causes of race disparities that impact the organization's programs, portfolios, and the populations served.
  • We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
  • We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
Policies and processes
  • We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
  • We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
  • We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
