What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Ski racing is a sport like no other on earth, the physical and mental demands it takes to be prepared to ski a World Cup venue are staggering. Few Americans have ever been competitive on the World Cup-It takes a plethora of support to make it happen, access to the best equipment, training and coaches are essential to even have a chance. Our European competition gains this level of support as early as 18. Americans in the last decade have seen their funding dropped systematically leaving the athletes to pick up the pieces. Now instead of dialing-in equipment, knowing you have the best technique or catching planes to get the best training. Athletes have to fight for equipment, sometimes buy it. Raise money to catch that flight. Fight for access to reasonable training. Massive amounts of time, energy, and stress every year are spent finding the support to bring a season together. Time that could be spent honing skills to come into the season ready to compete.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To further the growth and development of the nation’s best skiers and snowboarders by helping them realize their athletic goals and dreams. World Cup Dreams provides athletes access to donors, financial resources, and the fundraising opportunities needed to support them on their journey. WCDF believes athletes should be focused on their careers NOT fixated on financing them.
