ELL Scholarship Program

Was established to provide opportunities to English learners who have the desire to continue their higher education at accredited area colleges and universities. Current, our annual goal is to provide scholarships worth $500 - $1,000 each to deserving ELL students.

Fun with Science Camp: High School Students
This week long annual summer program is offered in partnership with Northern Kentucky University's Latino Institute of Excellence and the Department of Biology. This camp is held for ELL high school students. Students need to be recommended by their Science teacher or counselor to be able to apply.

Safari to the Water Underground: Middle School Students
Discover the fascinating world of plant and animal life lurking beneath the water in ponds and rivers. Use various sampling devices to collect critters and examine them up close using microscopes. Use equipment professionals use to monitor the water quality to see how healthy the water is for plant and animal life. Make fish prints and learn how to fish! The camp consists of two exciting, activity-packed days of water exploration.
