Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Each of us, in our own way, is seeking to better our lives and the lives of those we love. Every day, we struggle to progress along the path to our dream of a better future, passing others who—in their own journey—have lost their way.
What if instead of shrugging them off and pressing on, we stopped to lend a helping hand? To guide them back onto their path to being provided for, safe, self-sustaining, and free?
Our goal is to create a community of seekers committed to journeying together, to realizing their common pursuit of better days, and to helping one another achieve their dreams.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
• Leveraging new and traditional media to create awareness in the mortgage industry of poverty, homelessness, emotional trauma, oppression, and discrimination in the US and around the world;
• Identifying and vetting projects and programs that combat poverty, homelessness, emotional trauma, oppression, and discrimination;
• Inviting mortgage companies and professionals to fund these life-changing projects and programs through fun and engaging campaigns and events; and
• Promoting the goodwill of the mortgage industry and the generous companies and professionals it represents.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
With a high-profile Board of Directors representing the mortgage industry's corporate, retail, and tech sectors, senior staff with both nonprofit and mortgage experience, and a growing portfolio of highly-effective nonprofit partners, our organization is well equipped to achieve both its short- and long-term goals.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Having raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity worldwide, inspired dozens of mortgage companies and hundreds of mortgage professionals to invest in a better world, and improved the lives of tens of thousands of individuals, we are immensely proud of the impact we have had over the past 11 years.
But there are millions more individuals plagued by poverty, homelessness, emotional trauma, oppression and discrimination who long, every day, to find their path to a better future.
That is why we are excited to grow our force for good, to identify new projects and programs to support, and to continue to share stories of impact with mortgage professionals and consumers alike.
