What we aim to solve
Participation in Equestrian sport is often seen as exclusive due to the costs of owning and maintaining a horse and riding equipment. IEA removes this barrier with our unique draw-based competition format, allowing students to compete without owning a horse or riding equipment, providing greater affordability and access to the sport. The Benevolent Fund aims to provide equitable access to equestrian sports through a Financial Assistance Program for young riders in grades 4-12 who need additional funding support to enable them to take lessons and compete in the IEA. Thereby addressing the need for inclusion and equal opportunity in the equestrian community.

It also provides emergency funding for coaches who experience an unexpected event that impedes their ability work (accident, natural disaster, illness, etc.).
