Mission

To provide a permanent corporate organization to preserve and further the development of the common bond existing between all persons who have honorably served or are serving with the Joint Communications Unit (“JCU”) of the United States Armed Forces. Veterans organization that builds and strengthens the comradeship among its members and their families. To honor the memory of deceased veterans of the Armed Forces, including members of the JCU, and aiding and comforting their survivors. To encourage patriotism and finally aiding hospitalized, disabled and needy war veterans of the Armed Forces and their dependents.

SOCA Scholarship Program

College scholarships are awarded to deserving SOCA dependents. Two awards are presented annually. The criteria for the award is in the form of an essay competition that is voted on by our education board members.
