What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

OneWorkforce

OneWorkforce is a placement program that can be implemented with any disenfranchised population.  Placement and follow-up services to these populations are crucial for the survival and development of communities.  In our design of OneWorkforce we fully recognized the failures of traditional vocational training and placement programs, so we created an approach to address these decade long problems.  First

OneWorkforce staff work in unison with non-profit partner staff to ensure participants are ready for the world of work.  We strongly believe that placement preparation begins on the first day of enrollment into a training program.

The current OneWorkforce programs are operating in Washington DC's Ward 8 district and in Loudoun and Fairfax County's.

OneWorkforce provides non-profit programs with:

Career Development Plans, which are continually reviewed and updated as participants move through their program;
Work Readiness, finacial management, and resource development;
Placements in employment or post secondary education;
Follow-up with employers and participants;
Re-placements and placement up-grades
Reporting to funders and to staff as a program evaluation tool;

Other tasks can be internships, program evaluation, and social enterprise development.
