What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Rural Clinics

These Clinics extend the outreach into rural areas surrounding Limonade, Haiti where medical attention is inaccessible. Clinics are headed by local medical professionals and supported by Konbit at the direction of the local medical director. Patients are identified by Konbit funded community health workers (ajan sante) and provided a means of identification to be “admitted” to the clinic for physical, vaccinations and medical prescriptions. Rural Clinics are implemented one to two times each year as funding allows.

Population(s) Served
Children and youth
People with diseases and illnesses

In partnership with Children's Place International (CPI) and through the work of local Haitian program manager and two Haitian case workers, 24 HIV affected families (81 school-aged children) are provided bi-weekly visits, emergency food and clean water, medical care assistance, school supplies and supportive social services. Families remain in the program until children graduate from secondary school.
