Program 1
MARRIAGE AND FAMILY PROGRAMS: MARRIAGE PREPARATION WORKSHOP FOR SINGLE PEOPLE: A 2-Week Online Zoom Workshop 50+ Participants Parents and children participated together. MONTHLY COUPLES' RELATIONSHIP MEETINGS: Meetings conducted via Zoom Participated by 20 couples. WEEKLY MEETING ON FAMILY PRINCIPLES:Weekly meetings were held to discuss family principles and values, On average, 130 people participated. WEEKLY MEETINGS ON PARENTING:Weekly meetings were held on parenting skills, On average, 25 parents participated. PILOT FAMILY WORKSHOP:14 people pioneered a week-long family workshop in rural Montana. HOME BASED WORKBOOKS DISTRIBUTED: Distribution of workbooks in 5 languages, Core Values at Home Curriculum for Elementary School Age Children, Family Creed Workbook Distributed. RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT FOR FAMILY STRENGTHENING: WEBSITE RESOURCE: Weekly real stories related to family on usa.family-peace.org. OTHER RESOURCES:Newsletters with featured stories reaching 500 readers, Online resource page via log-in serving 350 members. YOUTH SPIRITUAL + CHARACTER EDUCATION: HIGH AND MIDDLE SCHOOL SPIRITUAL + CHARACTER EDUCATION:Operated Monthly programs for High school students, mixed online and in-person, throughout the year. An online chat group ("Discord" chat) was started, Participants ranged from Washington, New York, New Jersey, California, and Georgia, Supplementary outings and gatherings at a bimonthly rate occurred, Summer July workshops occurred for both High school and Middle school students. The Middle school workshop was staffed by High school students, End-of-year hike was executed for the Washington area. CORE VALUES FOR THE HOME (CVH) - PARENTS' EDUCATION MATERIALS FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION FOR ELEMENTARY AGE CHILDREN:New initiative began based on parents' request for more support for at-home character education for their elementary school age children, 18 families are participating in this new initiative, Phase 2 - Parents began creating lesson plans in their homes to develop theme-based books, Regular meetings set up for participating parents to share best practices. CORE VALUES FOR LIFE (CVL) - SPIRITUAL PROGRAMS FOR COLLEGE AGE AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS: Continued national video calls throughout the school year. Participants joined from New Jersey, Washington, Georgia, and Montana, California and Florida, Online workshop occurred in July with the theme "Building a spiritual community." LEADERSHIP TASK FORCE (LTF) LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE AGE: 6+ participants joined the 1-year college-age leadership program. YOUTH SUMMER WORKSHOPS: CVL Workshop held in July, High School Character and Ethics Workshop held in July, Middle School Character and Ethics Workshop held in July.
