Mission

Water is Life International (WiLi) is a nonprofit organization that brings access to safe and sufficient water sources to impoverished communities throughout Ethiopia.  WILI works within communities to empower those with the fewest resources to find immediate, affordable and sustainable access to safe water.

Well Drilling

In 2007 Water is Life International constructed 39 functioning wells serving approximately 2,000 to 3,000 people in the Rift Valley of Ethiopia. This was done in partnership with Selam Water is Life Program under the Selam Awassa Business Group. Once the pump was installed we worked with the community to educate on behavior changes regarding sanitary conditions.
