Mission

Our mission is to provide charitable and educational assistance to underserved and orphaned children and youth in Myanmar. We build schools, dormitories, latrines, youth centers, water tanks, etc. We train teachers, facilitate youth empowerment programs, support career training, fund medical supplies, equipment and transportation to surgery.

Free Community Medical Clinic in Bagan

Nat Htauk Free Medical Clinic is supported in part by MCF, which has purchased asthma medications and inhalers for children because Bagan is located in the dry zone. MCF also supports the cost of transportation for children to the capitol city of Yangon for complicated surgeries or procedures.

MCF identifies and supports rural schools that need infrastructure improvements to deliver adequate schooling, clean water, dormitories and classrooms.

MCF built a dormitory for girls and female teachers at Nget Pyaw Daw Monastic School in the Mon State. MCF also build living quarters, latrines and water tanks for orphans at Adonai Child Rehabilitation in Sagaing.

MCF funded construction of the Youth Center in Myitkyina, Kachin State. This center serves as the training location and action planning site for hundreds of youth in the area. It also hosts conferences for youth from other areas.

This clinic is located in Shwe Gyi Thar township outside Yangon, offering free health care services to the poor and underserved population suffering under the latest COVID waves to hit the country. Hospital care has been limited during the military coup and private hospitals turn away patients with no money. Dr. LTY wants to "provide those emergency patients a chance to live peacefully or until they take their last breath."
Over 50 babies have been delivered here. Common ailments include stroke, hypertension, asthma attacks, heptatis B and C, COVID infections, accidental injuries, civil unrest injuries.
