Mission

To assist children in reaching their highest potential by providing them with one-to-one relationships with caring adult role models from the community. We provide the mentor and mentee a safe and supportive environment in which the two can develop a trusting relationship. We serve low-income, at-risk youth in Sonoma and Marin Counties in California.

New Mentor Training

We provide new mentor training for mentors who have applied and are accepted into Mentor Me. These are held at our offices.

We host a monthly roundtable discussion for mentors which is an open discussion, facilitated by Linda Dunwoodie, MFT.

We provide scholarship funds for post-secondary education for our mentees.

This project is about getting mentors and their mentees out in the community having experiences and adventures. The project is funded mostly by the Mildred Yount Manion Foundation in addition to private donations. This grant allows us to buy gift cards for local businesses to give to our mentors. Participating businesses include Copperfield's Books, Fruit in Motion, Peet's Coffee, Petaluma Academy of Martial Arts, Rooster Run Golf Club, and more.
