Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The vision of Restore Hope involves the engagement of churches for Christ-centered proclamation and service among communities. Restore Hope serves North Texas churches through the provision of mission formation resources, consultation, coaching, strategy development, crisis management services, and other forms of logistical service. We assist North Texas churches with the development of church infrastructure, processes and mechanisms for the placement of members of their congregations in positions of cross-cultural service.

Christ-centered - not only is Jesus the central figure of history, his is the centerpiece of our faith and practice.

Church-based - In Matthew 16, Jesus pronounces to Peter his vision for the church - on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not withstand it. We believe the church is Jesus' chosen instrument for exercising his grace and will in the world. We say to churches "What is God leading you to do? How do we empower you to do it?"

Proclamation - All Restore Hope activities are accompanied by strategies for gospel proclamation. While the form of proclamation may vary from culture to culture, proclamation is an expectation of every worker and project.

Service - Jesus identified the two greatest commandments - to love God with a whole heart and to love one's neighbor as oneself. Restore Hope is committed to a holistic gospel presentation in communities where forms of service meet the real needs of people. From medicine to community development, from education to orphan care - we serve a God who loves and expects us to bless the individuals and communities he brings into our path.

Restore Hope assists the local church in identifying its God-given strengths, clarifying its calling, equipping and sending its people, and engaging its members so that the church can embrace and accomplish the work God has called it do. Over the past decade, we've grown from serving one Texas church sending two missionaries, to serving over 100 churches spread over 12 states and 29 foreign countries. Our small U.S. based staff means that more funding goes to programming and ensures financial transparency and accountability.

What we have accomplished so far:

Meals for Multitudes events prepared over 90,000 meals that will be sent for international relief efforts this year.

Annual INTERFACE Missions conferences.

Multiple Affinity Gatherings.

Thirty churches participated in facilitator training for cross-cultural mission formation in their church.

Two hundred and eighty-seven individuals prepared for cross-cultural service with the PANORAMA training program.

Fifty churches assisted in preparation, placement, and logistical support as they engaged in Gospel Ministries, Emergency Relief and Community Development worldwide.

Provide practical business services and support for 38 missionaries serving globally.

We are engaging in various forms of global impact that includes:

Work in East and Southeast Asia through disciple making, distribution of relief supplies, cultural arts exchange programs, water resourcing and scripture translation.

Work in West Africa to identify, train and support indigenous church leaders. Ebola relief efforts, task forces, prevention and hygiene education along with post-Ebola strategies were part of the focus. Other accomplishments include orphan and child rescue ministries, provision of a school, supplies, caregiver empowerment projects and skills training. We've responded to famines and droughts by coordinating massive food distributions and provision of wells.

We are currently working on expanding into the following areas to support ongoing work in various regions and begin new work as follows:

Work in Central America to plant churches in remote communities engaged in evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, water resourcing, food relief and Bible translation.

Work in East Africa to provide leadership training and a rural Bible Institute. The work will also include community development of water resourcing, sanitation, education and health initiatives. A focus to assist in church plants, evangelism and discipleship.
