Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
CTC Academy employs a multi-sensory approach in a nurturing and caring environment to enrich the lives of our students and maximize their potential while also supporting their families.
During 2016 we introduced our new transition program: STEP- Student Transition Education Program. This is a program specifically for students who are 18-2 l years of age - students who have graduated from a high school equivalent program. STEP focuses on preparing the students for life after a school based program. In STEP, students will have increased opportunity to explore a variety of structured learning experiences, jobs and recreational activities within the school and the community while they focus on developing functional skills imperative for their future.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
At the heart of our capabilities to meet the very unique needs of our specialized students is our highly qualified and dedicated staff who are committed to helping each of our students achieve his or her maximum potential. Our educational and therapeutic services are offered to students and families at our two state-of-the-art facilities. Each student receives one-on-one support throughout their school day from a highly qualified and caring staff member.
Our Fair Lawn campus offers early developmental services (Early Enrichment, Preschool and Kindergarten). Our Early Elementary classroom helps students transition, over a full school year, from this campus to our new, David F. Bolger campus in Oakland where services are provided to Primary, Middle, High School and Transition grades.
