Amano Christian School

Amano Christian School is an international boarding school in Zambia. The goal of the school is to have room for up to 350 students with one-third being AIDS/ HIV orphans. Education is super important in Zambia as AIDS experts estimate that 50% of Zambia’s youth will not make it to the age of 30. Currently, more than 130 students are enrolled in grades 1-12. Located just a few miles from the largest city in Zambia’s “Copper Belt” district, the school teachers a diverse student body. All teaching is done in English. Along with the children of missionaries in Africa, the student body also includes children of international workers employed in Zambia’s copper mining industry. Additionally, a number of spaces are reserved for AIDS orphans. Tuition for these children is supplied completely by gifts and donations.

Liebenzell USA is a Christian organization that exists to help people worldwide come to know Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, education and humanitarian aid.

At Liebenzell, we believe that the Good News of Jesus Christ is a beneficial and life-changing force for every person, culture and nation. Our job is to live and pass on this truth by mobilizing and equipping missionaries and their senders to reach the ends of the earth.


Today there are over seven billion people in the world. Only one-third of the people on earth confess to be Christians, and many of those hunger for teaching and discipleship. Jesus Christ gave His Church the mandate to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything He commanded (Matthew 28:18-20). Liebenzell is committed to this task. We labor to disciple the nations in 26 countries around the world.


We are compelled to world mission by the great love God has shown to us. He desires that all hear the Good News – and we want to be the feet to bring it!


Schooleys Mountain Retreat Center (a ministry of Liebenzell USA) is a Christian Retreat center that provides a peaceful, beautiful and refreshing environment for groups and individuals to grow in and experience the transformational love of Jesus Christ.

Our goal is not only provide the environment for Christians to experience God; but also to meet the goal of supporting the missionaries of Liebenzell USA who serve in the US & globally. By doing so, it is our hope to join in the Lords work of reaching the least, the last and the lost not only globally, but also in our own backyard through special programs, outreaches and events.

We are located in the middle of beautiful New Jersey. Here at SMRC, there are two 'sides' to the property. One side is referred to as the North Campus and the second is known as the South Campus. Located about a mile apart, each side has its own accommodations, dining room, meeting rooms and recreational activities.

Located only 50 miles West of NYC, SMRC can accommodate retreats of all sizes from personal retreats for pastors to large groups up to 250. We meet the needs of most any Christian group.
