Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

National PAL Youth Mentoring & Leadership

We serve approximately 300 Chapters and over 1.5 million kids nationally between the ages of 5 and 18. National PAL recognizes that each PAL Chapter serves a unique community and through mentorship, each chapter determines its programs according to the community needs. Many Chapters are located in high crime urban communities, where other youth organizations do not exist. Chapters focus on Character and Leadership Development and are required to have a sports/recreation activity and an educational/cultural enrichment activity. The beneficiaries are youth at risk of becoming involved in juvenile crime or at risk of being victims of juvenile crime and violence.
