Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
South Jersey RC&D operates a system of 22 weather stations to provide lawn and crop irrigation scheduling and flood modeling. SJRC&D coordinates a team of wildlife conservationist that install wildlife habitat. South Jersey also coordinates the Delaware Estuary Levee Organization to prevent a Katrina type disaster along the Delaware Bay. THe Council also promotes Ag Viability by sponsoring a charity bike ride called Tour des Farms. Lastly, we are contacting all Agriculture landowners in a small watershed in Burlington County to discuss water quality.
