Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Wildcat Mountain Wilderness Center
Nestled deep within a 50,000-acre natural area in northern New Jersey,
the Wildcat Mountain Wilderness Center is Project U.S.E.'s adventure
headquarters, offering camping, hiking, canoeing, rock-climbing,
team-building, and leadership training to thousands of young people and
adults each year.
Pedal Farmers Program
The Pedal Farmers program has engaged young adults from Newark in urban gardening and horticulture every summer, beginning in 2007. The program is designed to provide job training, develop business and entrepreneurship skills, teach students about financial literacy and investing, and allow for participating students to give back to their community through various service projects.
Professional Development
Our organization’s approach to “learning by doing” extends to working with companies and organizations to help them create a culture of open communication, trust, and engagement to drive improved performance. We have more than 40 years of experience in offering high-quality experiential education and training programs to our clients, with specific activities and deliberative debrief discussions tailored to the needs and goals of each individual client.
We have experience facilitating professional development workshops on site at organizations, at our Wildcat Mountain Wilderness Center in West Milford, or other venues that may be appropriate for your group’s needs.
