A&CCFGR works to raise awareness about the importance of the cultural industry within the community by acting as a planner, funder and advocate for the arts in the Rochester region. A&CCFGR awards grants to nonprofit organizations and individual artists for arts programs and career development ($78,310). A&CCFGR also provides identification and support of local traditional artists, as well as public programming and an arts education program ($38,675). Among A&CCFGRs recent accomplishments were successfully completing a comprehensive 15-month cultural planning process, and beginning the implementation of a 5-year plan to strengthen the cultural industry of the Rochester region.
