Statesir Cancer Center at CentraState
The Statesir Cancer Center at CentraState Medical Center in Monmouth County, New Jersey is a place of healing where we’re always a step ahead in preventing and treating cancer. Our comprehensive and advanced cancer diagnosis and cancer treatment options give you the kinds of choices you’d find in the most respected medical centers in every major city – but closer to home.
Our talented team of skilled primary care physicians, leading cancer specialists, and compassionate nurse navigators provide a unified support system unlike any other medical facility. At CentraState’s Cancer Center, you can experience the power of community-based cancer care – right here in NJ.
What does community-based cancer care mean for you? It means that you’ll have access to top-notch prevention, diagnostic, treatment and wellness programming, including increasingly coordinated, convenient and personalized cancer care in your community. Whether you – or a loved one – are coping with a cancer diagnosis, some of your most difficult decisions revolve around how to choose the best treatment, the best doctor, and figuring out how to manage your ongoing needs. It’s especially difficult to have to make those decisions while struggling emotionally with the impact of a diagnosis of cancer.
We understand those emotional challenges at CentraState. We value the importance of providing you with cancer care, education, and support in a seamless way, so that you can easily find all the cancer services you need, here in Monmouth County. Because when it comes to cancer care - your best option is having every option.
Neuroscience Center
The Neuroscience Center of Central Jersey at CentraState offers comprehensive care for brain, spine, and nervous system conditions. Maternity

Linda E. Cardinale Multiple Sclerosis Center
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, debilitating disease of the central nervous system. The symptoms of MS can range from mild—producing little or no disability—to severe—leading to substantial disability, sometimes quickly. The unpredictable physical and emotional effect can be life-long, but effective treatment can help manage symptoms and change the course of the disease.
The Linda E. Cardinale MS Center at CentraState was created to help improve the quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis and their families in the tri-state region. We provide comprehensive, high-quality care through accurate diagnosis, education, the establishment of appropriate care plans, and individualized treatment, with a special emphasis on various support systems.
Movement Disorder Program
Mobility and function are among the key indicators of good health across the lifespan. If you notice you’re having any issues with movement or functioning, you may benefit from an evaluation with CentraState’s Movement Disorder Program. This multidisciplinary program is designed to detect and manage any neurodegenerative issues early, when treatment is most effective.
The Movement Disorder Program is led by Jia Zhen Cheng, MD, a board-certified neurologist who is fellowship-trained in movement disorders, in collaboration with skilled therapists at CentraState’s OceanFirst Rehabilitation Center and various other medical specialties. Together, they focus on optimal functioning and well-being for the body and mind.
