Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

PH International's goal is to build a strong global community by fostering civic engagement, cross-cultural learning, and increased opportunities in the digital age. PH aims to empower citizen actors across a wide range of contexts and populations in Eurasia, the Caucasus, and the Balkans, to advance peace, education, and human rights, and to promote dialogue and mutual understanding.

PH's core program strategies for achieving its goal are: educational development programs; educational, cultural, and professional exchanges; community development initiatives; and using online learning and social media training as a tool for social change and civic engagement.

For the past 36 years, PH has been at the forefront of innovation with a focus on improving economic, civic and professional opportunities for citizens of all ages and circumstances. Staying close to our roots and hometown values applied in an international arena has set us apart as a uniquely equipped player in the international field. The quality and integrity of that work has earned recognition and trust from remarkably diverse partners and governments, contributing to our sustained presence in very challenging locations and times. PH's headquarters office is in Waitsfield, Vermont, with field offices in Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro and Ukraine.

PH is a highly experienced manager of international and domestic programs that has successfully administered more than 500 programs with over $100 million in funding from the U.S. State Department, USAID, and private donors. More than 20,000 individuals have participated in PH’s international exchange programs in the U.S. and across Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia. PH continues to expand its programming to new countries including Montenegro this year and regions including the Near East/Northern Africa and the Western Hemisphere through innovative partnerships.
