What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Program Services
The Alliance for Positive Health coordinates services for people living with HIV/AIDS and other serious medical & social conditions through a continuum of services including case management, counseling, support groups, transportation, prison services, HIV testing, and emergency financial assistance. We also target high-risk individuals with HIV/Hep C/STD testing, intensive, behavior change prevention education and community outreach initiatives designed to reduce both the risk and fear of HIV and AIDS. We serve as public advocates for needed services, thereby providing a voice for those who might otherwise not be heard and contributing to the overall health and well being of our community. We serve a large, diverse geographic region encompassing 17 counties. Meeting the needs of the people we serve in this urban, suburban and rural region is an ever-constant challenge as the needs of the needs of the clients we serve vary and the stigma and reaction of communities differ.
